Below are a few examples of low-carbon, quick recipes you could try at home.

Carbon footprint: 0.7 kg

Best Banana Bread

For 1 loaf (all organic):

  • 3 (300g) ripe bananas

  • 50g maple syrup

  • 135g unsweetened apple sauce

  • Vanilla

  • 180g flour

  • 30g flax meal 

  • 1 teaspoon (4g) baking soda

  • • 1/2 tsp. (2g) baking powder

  • • 1/2 tsp. (2g)cinnamon

  • • 1/4 tsp. (1g) Salt

Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius. Mash Bananas in a bowl. Add maple syrup, apple sauce, and vanilla. Add the rest and stir until just combined - don’t overmix. Pour into loaf pan with parchment paper. Bake for 35 min. Let cool 5 min in pan, then take out and let completely cool. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Creamy Avocado Pasta

For 4 people (all organic):

  • 350g Pasta & 1000g water & salt

  • 2 Avocado (400g)

  • 30g of basil

  • 100ml oat cream

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (20g)

  • Garlic Powder, Salt & Pepper to taste

  • 100g water

Cook pasta with in salted water. Blend all the ingredients for the sauce and serve with the pasta.
